Where to ride from Nha Trang on a bike — 50cc routes
A bike in Nha Trang means freedom: in a day you can cover the city and the nature around it, no taxis or tours. Here are the best places you can actually reach on a 50cc, with distances and tips. Let’s go.
In town and close by — easy on a 50cc
Ancient temples and pagodas around Nha Trang — colourful and close
Po Nagar Towers — ~3 km north of the centre. Ancient Cham temples on a hill with bay views. Go early before the crowds.
Hon Chong promontory — just north of downtown. Granite boulders by the sea and a view café — great bay shots.
Nha Trang Cathedral — a stone Gothic church in the centre, striking and a stone’s throw away.
Long Son Pagoda with a big white Buddha on the hill — also within the city.
Tran Phu seafront — along the whole beach. An evening cruise on your bike by the sea is a must.
A bit further — half a day
Nature around Nha Trang: waterfalls and green canyons
Ba Ho Waterfalls — about 25 km north, ~40 minutes by scooter. Three cascades, swimming, trekking, cliff jumps. A perfect 50cc target: close, beautiful, refreshing in the heat. Hon Chong is easy to add on the way.
A full day — mind your 50cc
Out of town — highway and green fields on the way to the beaches
Doc Let Beach — about 50 km north, white sand and calm sea. On a 50cc that’s a full day along the QL1A highway: plan your time, fuel and leave early. If you want long trips often, a bigger bike helps — but for a relaxed day, Doc Let on a 50cc is doable.
Tips for 50cc trips
Fuel up in advance — RON 95; stations are rarer out of town.
