Nha Trang’s rainy season runs roughly September to December, peaking in October–November. Downpours are usually short but heavy, mostly in the afternoon. You can still ride a bike then — you just need a couple of rules. Let’s go.

Rain in Nha Trang often comes in waves: a bright morning, then clouds by midday and a sharp 20–40 minute downpour, then sun again. So always keep a poncho under the seat — you can be soaked in a minute.

Out-of-town and mountain routes (waterfalls, passes) wash out in heavy rain and can have landslides. In a downpour, postpone such trips and check the forecast.
A soaked bike is fine, but it helps to wipe it down, check the brakes and, on a manual, oil the chain. Damp and sea salt speed up corrosion — more in scooter care.
Before sale we service and check the brakes — which matter most in the rain. And if plans change because of the weather, the 50% buy-back applies.
